Hers Night Club opened their new play lounge on friday night. The owners Josee and Gord have spent the last couple months expanding this already beautiful club into a hedonistic playground. Here are some of the comments provided by the people who attended this weekend.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE GOOD FEATURES
- The Club is now divided into two parts, The Club in the front and the Lounge in the back. What the patrons like is that it no longer cost you $30 to get in as a couple, but only $10 (friday - free before 10:30) and $20 (saturday). You are not obligated to buy a Lounge Pass unless you want to so there is no up sell required. You can dance and play as always in the front as it is still on-premis throughout. If you find a couple you would like to get to know more intimately you can go to the cashier and purchase your Lounge Pass and head to the back. This is a nice break from having to pay so much up front and being disappointed because you didn't find anyone to play with.
- The club now features over 50 play areas which include; couches, chairs, speakers, king/queen beds, table tops and a sex swing.
- The lounge area opens at 10 and not later in the evening like some other downtown clubs.
- The lounge has its own licensed bar and you can run a tab with a credit card and pay up at the end of the night so you dont have to worry about carrying money around.
- There is a private heated smoking area for your convenience.
- The Lounge Area is separated from the Club Area with privacy glass so you can see out and its very hard to see in from the Club side. Its a nice feeling that everyone in the Lounge is in towels and on an equal level. Not some dressed and some naked.
- There are 3 large private rooms which lock from the inside so that no one can disturb you You can reserve the room to play in at 30 minute intervals thru the attendant at no extra charge. The attendant has a key and will let you know when your time is up. The rooms are basic but feature queen size beds an total privacy with lights that have dimmer switches.
- A nice feature is the change room area which is very large and accommodating.
- The towels provided are great quality and oversized. No facecloths here.
- There is an attendant watching over your valuables and she has the only locker key so you are not bothered with having to carry around a key. To open your locker, just aske the attendant. You are only responsible to lock it after you are done.
- There are new luxury bathrooms in the lounge area with complimentary built in hair dryers for the ladies.
- The shower is massive and can hold up to 20 people, perhaps we can organize a shower party some night.
- They provided a array of croissants and fruit trays at around 11 which was basic but definitely hit the spot.
HERE IS SOME OF THE BAD
- Its a little cold to go out and smoke in a towel this time of year. The owners will be providing jackets for those who want to go out and smoke so that you don't have to worry about heading back to the coat check and get your jacket.
- The tiled floors throughout the club and in the change room are cold. This was mentioned to the owners and they are allowing the patrons to bring slippers if they like. The ladies are welcome to keep their shoes/boots on. Although the tiled floor is cold, its very clean and hygienic. We have been to some clubs covered in carpet and although its warm, its not very sanitary. They also will be adding bath mats into the change area for a little more comfort.
- The back area with private rooms is very quiet and needs some music. They are apparently adding this in shortly.
- The lounge only holds 150 people even thought the club can hold 400 people because its so big. What inevitable will happen is that there will be a line up to get into the back so our advise would be to get there early and if you intend to use the Lounge, get your Pass when you arrive. Just hold onto it until you are ready to go back and play.
Overall the Lounge was well received and a huge success. Its quickly becoming very popular and rivals the famous clubs Trapeze and Miami Velvet. Well done Josee and Gord. |

Hi everyone.
The holiday season is finally over. Hope you all had a good one.
We've had a chance to check out the new lounge at Club Hers a few times lately.
It is much nicer than we were expecting it to be. Lots of play areas, both large and open as well as smaller and private rooms. There are also a few socializing areas with sofas and a booth area, as well as a bar.
The lounge is towels only. The towels are huge, more than most of the ladies wear to the club. The towels don't stop those who like to dance from running back out to the clubs dance floor when a good song comes on.
The lounge seems to be a hit with most people. It starts getting active as soon as it opens at 10PM.
Our favorite club just keeps getting better.

Well we finally made it to Hers a few weeks ago. I have to say it was extremely disapointing. For us at least, I think the new lounge doesn't really work as well. It divides the club in half, with the outer half being really just another bar. We were there with friends and while the lounge looked very impressive, no one was interested in the towel only idea, or the communal shower. We wanted an erotic dance club atmosphere. But the non lounge area we were very disapointed. The crowd was very small, and the atmoshere just didn't seem erotic. Most of the patrons were dressed pretty conservatively for a lifestyle club, there were no slow songs, no one mingled, the crowd was small. Having the wall divided the people, and put the more fun ones into the lounge. So to me the message is unless you're going to spend the night in the lounge, don't bother coming. For me, I would much rather have the wall gone, charge more at the door and charge a fee for the private rooms, but leave the atmosphere open.
We have spoken to some friends who used to rave about Hers before the lounge opened but aren't as happy since.
It's great for those who enjoy it and I'm glad they have a place they love. I'm just disapointed that I missed out on Hers before the wall went up! |

Hi GoodTimes.
We were skeptical of the changes too, when the renovations first started. We liked Club Hers because it was large, stylish and had a good dance club atmosphere.
While we do like the new lounge area, you are right, it has changed the atmosphere of the club. The main club area becomes much quieter early in the evening. As soon as the lounge opens at 10PM, people begin drifting away into the lounge, never to return... (until they pass through, with smiles on their faces, to leave for the night).
There is now a clear division between the two areas. Both have very different atmospheres. The club area is for socializing, dancing and meeting people. The Lounge area is for getting laid. Very few creative people do the opposite.
The Lounge area is great for its purpose, but we wish the Club area would hold on to the crowd longer. We like the foreplay of socializing and dancing.
It's good that there is a variety of clubs available. Club Hers is still our favorite. We will be there again tonight for the Valentines Party.

| I got the invite for the Club Hers anniversary party. It looks very interesting. It seems that for the anniversary, they are going back to the old style, with no division between the lounge and the club. So, since I was sorry to have missed the "old days" we've bought our tickets and are looking forward to the party! I'm hoping it's going to be a great night. |
